A few days back, I had written an article on Cursive writing and its importance, also mentioning that the state of Indiana had stopped teaching cursive, however a team of Graphologists have been working on this issue and a few days back we got to know that the state has given permission to use cursive and not ban its use. However most states don’t require children to learn cursive writing anymore. Some 46 states have adopted the Common Core Standards, a set of educational guidelines that do not require cursive writing as part of a school’s curriculum. My fellow Graphologists have created a Campaign for Cursive blog and you can find the entire information from there.

Just imagine if schools stop teaching cursive in school then we would have adults who would write like children, like these samples below which are of the famous teen stars Miley Cyrus ,Justin Bieber and Selena Gomaz’z letters to their younger selves.

Our handwriting is like a pictorial representation of what is going on in our mind, how we think, react and create. Miley and Justin’s handwriting is just like that of primary grade children and most of it is in the print form Selena at least is writing cursive but with time even this might stop. Many of the people I have analyzed have said this one thing frequently, I don’t write anymore or I use the computers all the time, where is writing involved and hence why to learn it, similarly the schools feel why teach cursive when ultimately you will have to use the keyboard? Well the answer to that has already being given in my previous blog as to how the brain show more activity while using the pen than the keyboard.

Cursive writing (Part 1)

Writing in cursive has the advantage that you will use all the three zones in the handwriting which are the upper zone, middle zone and lower zones which indicate the thinking and intelligence, present day to day life and physical activity respectively. When you print you tend to ignore the zones most of the times and the writing is stifled to the middle zone where you think of only the moment and nothing else, which leads to many other problems for you.

In an article compiled by Katie hatter (CNN) has given the following information from various specialists of the filed.

“Without it [cursive handwriting] you lose the sense of having your thought process through your hand movements to create your language and thoughts to someone else,” says Michael Sull, a master penman in Spencerian script; past president of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting; and author of four books on handwriting including, “American Cursive Handwriting,” which was released last month.

“There is a great loss in the progress that could be made with children fostering their motor skill development, literacy training and concepts of communication.”

Sloppiness makes the reader think the writer’s ideas aren’t any good, studies show. “If you have sloppy handwriting, people make [negative] judgments about the quality of your ideas,” says Steven Graham, professor of education at Vanderbilt University.

And poor handwriting slows down the writer. If you write slowly, your hand may not be able to keep up with your mind’s attempt to have a thought, form it into a sentence and remember it long enough to write it down. “Until you can do this skill quickly and without thinking, it will interfere with your output,” says Graham. “You better learn to write.”

In this day and age where computer is a necessity, learn all that it takes to become technology savvy, but why lose the most beautiful and easy way of reaching your mind, which is through your own handwriting. Your handwriting talks to you everyday, listen to what it says and your life will never be the same again.

In this day and age Stress is the number one killer and below are a few pointers as to what is stress and how it affects us. In this article I shall share with you how to beat stress ,Exam or otherwise with the help of Handwriting Analysis.

Stress whether in school or collage or for freshers giving job interviews comes in all forms and is an unavoidable consequence of life. A mild degree of stress is just like spicing up one particular meal you have prepared and you might even end up enjoying it. It will help you feel stimulated and motivated, and may help to overcome stress, but high degree of stress may be disrupting.

What Exactly is stress and how does it affect us?

The word stress is derived from the Latin word “stringi”, which means, “to be drawn tight”

Stress disturbs the body’s normal way of functioning. Hans Selye said in 1956, “stress is not necessarily something bad, it all depends on how you take it. The stress of exhilarating, creative successful work is beneficial, while that of failure, humiliation or infection is detrimental.”

Stress can contribute to heart disease, high blood pressure, and strokes, and make you more likely to catch less serious illnesses like colds. It can also contribute to alcoholism, obesity, drug addiction, cigarette use, depression, and other harmful behaviors.Mental tensions, frustrations, insecurity, aimlessness are among the most damaging stressors, and psychosomatic studies have shown how often they cause migraine headache, peptic ulcers, heart attacks, hypertension, mental disease, suicide, or just hopeless unhappiness.

Ways to Beat out that Stress

2) The second is through Handwriting Therapy: Handwriting analysis is a well known and recognized science and a very effective way to reach your sub-conscious by the way of your own handwriting.

This exercise is known as waves as it looks like waves. However there is lot of significance in this exercise. This pattern will help you in releasing tension and unwanted emotional baggage. It will increase flexibility and creativity in many areas.

The above exercise helps to improve balance and co-ordination and is a great stress buster. It also helps the person to keep an open ear and aids in concentration.

This exercise should be done in the morning for at least 10 minutes. It improves memory and increases sharpness in a person.

This exercise is known as figure 8 because it looks like the numeral 8. This exercise will help you in easily conveying your thoughts and ideas on the paper or orally.

Is the keyboard completely replacing the pen?

Indiana school officials have announced that students will no longer be required to learn cursive writing, effective this fall.

In a memo to schools in April, state officials said schools can still teach cursive as independent school protocol, but students will be expected to be proficient in using the keyboard, The Tribune-Star reports.

District and school officials didn’t find the announcement particularly surprising.

“The skill of handwriting is a dying art,” [said East Allen County Schools Superintendent Karyle Green]. “Everything isn’t handwritten anymore.”

The Tribune-Star also reports that parents are worried about children knowing how to sign their names. The SAT and Advanced Placement exams also currently require handwritten essays.

This article truly is very depressing and talks about handwriting been more a curse than a boon. What a shame that the people are not aware of the true potential of Handwriting Analysis and using their Handwriting help them change their personality. We have many proofs as to how handwriting is useful and why cursive should be thought .

Research highlights the hand’s unique relationship with the brain when it comes to composing thoughts and ideas. Virginia Berninger, a professor of educational psychology at the University of Washington, says handwriting differs from typing because it requires executing sequential strokes to form a letter, whereas keyboarding involves selecting a whole letter by touching a key.

She says pictures of the brain have illustrated that sequential finger movements activated massive regions involved in thinking, language and working memory—the system for temporarily storing and managing information.

And one recent study of hers demonstrated that in grades two, four and six, children wrote more words, faster, and expressed more ideas when writing essays by hand versus with a keyboard.

Writing increases neural activity
A recent Indiana University study had one group of children practice printing letters by hand while a second group just looked at examples of A’s, B’s, and C’s. Then, both groups of kids entered a functional MRI (disguised as a “spaceship”) that scanned their brains as the researchers showed them letters. The neural activity in the first group was far more advanced and “adult-like,” researchers found. It showed that learning had taken place.

Writing Cursive and the Brain

“There’s some pretty powerful evidence of changes in the brain that occur as the result of learning to overcome a motor challenge,” says Rand Nelson of Peterson Directed Handwriting. The act of physically gripping a pen or pencil and practicing the swirls, curls and connections of cursive handwriting activates parts of the brain that lead increase language fluency.

This idea is echoed by Iris Hatfield, creator of the New American Cursive program. She also believes in the connection between handwriting and brain development. “Cursive improves neural connections in the brain, “she writes. She stresses that physiological movement of writing cursive letters “help build pathways in the brain while improving mental effectiveness.” This increased effectiveness may continue throughout a child’s academic career.

R. Shadmehr and H. Holcomb of Johns Hopkins University published a study in Science Magazine showing that their subject’s brains actually changed in reaction to physical instruction such as cursive handwriting lessons. The researchers provided PET scans as evidence of these changes in brain structure. Further, they also demonstrated that these changes resulted in an “almost immediate improvement in fluency,” which led to later development of neural pathways. As a result of practicing motor skills, the researchers found, knowledge becomes more stable.

Handwriting is one of the most difficult neuro muscular tasks. There are several basic brain processes involved in handwriting. Binocular teaming, or the proper focusing of the eyes, requires integration between the two hemispheres of the brain. Writing neatly on the paper is a fine motor activity which requires good hand eye coordination and good fine motor skill. Most handwriting problems are caused by a sensory integration disorder which inhibits coordination and integration between the many brain structures and systems involved in the writing process.

I feel that one must learn new things and technology is growing with leaps and bounds, but some things cannot be substituted and writing is far effective for the development of the brain to be considered a hassle. Handwriting affects our personality, our thought process and brings out our talents, or deep layered fears and study even shows that changing the handwriting has profound effect on the personality, also known as Grapho Therapy.

This is the ”Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish” address delivered by Steve Jobs in 2005 at Stanford University:

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?
It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: “We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?” They said: “Of course.” My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents’ savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn’t see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn’t interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

It wasn’t all romantic. I didn’t have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends’ rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on.
Let me give you one example:

Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn’t have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can’t capture, and I found it fascinating.
None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, it’s likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.

Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
My second story is about love and loss.

I was lucky – I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation – the Macintosh – a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn’t know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down – that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me – I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple’s current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I’m pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn’t been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith. I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.

My third story is about death.

When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.

Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn’t even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor’s code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you’d have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.

I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I’m fine now.

This was the closest I’ve been to facing death, and I hope it’s the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960’s, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

When I choose to post this article here, I wanted to remove somethings as it was too long, but later decided against it, and now I have two signatures for you and a very short and sweet analysis.

this is the signature some way back and the second one I got from Wikipedia and is known to be a recent one. The signature is our Badge the world, Its our identity card and as you can see, his name is firmly stated, you can read it and come to know whose signature it is, similarly in handwriting analysis it signifies a person who is communicative, practical and reliable. It indicates a person who does not pull a facade, what you see is what you get. It has a nice combination of garlands and arcades which show a receptive person , a writer who is trusting and open and driven towards success and accomplishment. However the man was human and had his own faults, one being the beginning stroke of the first letter (S), which starts below the baseline, shows Jobs was resentful and he often misplaced his anger. And because he had a right slant, he often expressed his feelings without inhibitions. The man was determined and generous and to the point.

In modern usage, a “VANDAL” is someone who engages in senseless destruction. Vandals have two meanings attached to it, but here it refers to a person who willfully or maliciously defaces or destroys public or private property.

Here goes Mercedes Analysis

The examples are quite difficult to analyze because they have obviously been done using spray. So for eg., pressure cannot be measured (in spite of some strokes with more “ink”) Then the photo is from quite far away, so if there were tremors they are difficult to observe. In a general view they seem quite straight, but as with handwriting we need sometime a microscope, a nearer view could have given more information. So, could not say if they were on drugs (tremors) or had the previous condition of possible emotional outbursts (pastosity).

Size is big, they took the opportunity of using the whole car: loud and noisy message.

Slant changes from up straight in most letters(self assurance, they are convinced of their words) to slightly left on the “a” (emotional withdrawn…of course, they reject…something) to quite inclined to the right of the “N”, quite angular by the way, quite big (niggers ARE important) but not as much as the “I” and the “H”(ate).
So, for this person the feeling of hatred is more important than to whom is directed. Of course, not only niggers, the owner of the car as well, “N”(iggers) moves forward, with a right slant, showing niggers belong to his “outside” world (do not belong to his own…therefore, he might not be a nigger as well. So he does not hate himself (his dady or brothers), he hates others, but the most…is that he feels hate (the “H”(ate) is quite fat and square and prominent. Feeling hate is the matter.

The “g” resemble numbers 9. He might feel resentment because niggers might have a job (earn money) and he cannot. The “g” symbolizes use of energy, sex and pleasures. But in this case both “g” are opened below (do not return to line) so the author does not find too much satisfaction in this areas in his own life. The author does not know how to channel satisfactorily his own energy (and therefore resentment comes on the scenario). It resembles numbers, so money is in between. Sex for money? Paying to have sex? Very small oval of the “g”, not too much emotion linked to sexual situations. One letter in “niggers” disappeared. ? The “s” at the end symbolyzes moral consciousness. And it is falling from the line with a long , descending, back stroke. Does not give his face to situations but rather his moral consciousness invites him to run back and hide somewhere.

Large stroke in the “i” of niggers, with a very nicely placed dot. The author is not only conscious and in control of his acts but even more pays attention while doing his graffitti.

Conclusion: Self centered person that is overwhelmed by his own emotions of hate. More emotional than rational (almost square letters in size, not in shape necessarily) that through the connecting down, straight, and linear stroke of the “a” he is trying to bring down into the scene in a very aggressive way. In this case, attacking black people, who are important for him, though in a second place compared with Him. He projects his own feelings of insatisfaction and meaningless in the areas of sexuality and money onto black people (The obvious message) but also onto car owners -do they have enough money to have a car? (the secondary message). He attacks in them, what fails in him. I believe he might not be black as well and probably cannot afford a car for himself. He might hate whatever else, his item is hating.

The first example is from too far away and I cannot see clear enough.

As  written in Wikipedia, commonly known as MF, was an eminent Indian painter. He is widely regarded as the “Picasso of India” and influenced a whole generation of artists in the country. Husain was associated with Indian modernism in the 1940s. A dashing, highly eccentric figure who dressed in impeccably tailored suits, he went barefoot and brandished an extra-long paintbrush as a slim cane. He never maintained a studio but he spread his canvases out on the floor of whatever hotel room he happened to be staying in and paying for damages when he checked out. He created four museums to showcase his work and had a collection of classic sports cars.

Husain was mainly a self-taught artist. He made ends meet in his initial days by painting cinema hoardings in Mumbai, paid barely four or six annas per square foot. A series of cases were brought against Husain and a court case related to the alleged obscene depiction of Hindu goddesses in his paintings resulted in issuing a non-bailable warrant against him after he failed to respond to summons. There were also reportedly death threats. For the last years of his life he lived in Dubai and London, staying away from India, but expressing a strong desire to return, despite fears of arrest.

There was a series of protests on M F Hussain, some with him and some against. The basic matter was that he portrayed the Hindu Gods and Godesses Naked whereas his mother and daughter and other Islamic deities fully clothed. why did he do that? what was in his mind? was he partialto one side or simply painting what ever it that he felt like? His handwriting will give us a clue as to whether he did things without any thought and impulsively or whether his way of looking was mushy.

As you can see the writing, it is written in 2010, making him 94 years of age. The clarity in the writing of a 95 year old man should be noticed! The man was a legend, the greatest Indian Painter of our times and whether his drawings were liked or not, nothing stopped him till his last breath. He continued doing what he loved best, Painting. Was he impulsive? No not at all, in fact the man was very independent and self-controlled. he ruled with his head and every decision was based on facts. He had an uncanny ability to remain calm under pressure. his persistence and high self esteem have helped him stay on the top most position till this day.

His bold and well-connected writing along withe the drawing of the horse show his fluidity in doing any job. No doubt he was a head ruled person, but his decisions were taken  based on information provided from other sources. He was agile and sharp in mind even in his last days.  The drawings that he is known for tell us how organized his brain was. He was meticulous , efficient and purposeful. the drawing of the horse shows that he is looking backward yet moving forward. He always wanted to return to India. Husain, who left India stating that “matters are so legally complicated that I have been advised not to return home”, had living abroad self-exile since 2006. He had expressed a strong desire to come back, despite fears that he may be arrested in connection with the cases against him.

His writing also showed the presence of phallic Symbols, meaning a person who is obsessed with sex and has vivid erotic fantasies. Such writers attain sexual pleasure when indulging in extremely unconventional practices.

There was a manager named Steve and he was to attend a seminar which his company had sent him for. Now in the four day period, there was a presentation on leadership and it was not mandatory. Steve was a fond player of Tennis and felt that instead of attending he could have a good game or two and spend the better part of the day relaxing. He went to the organizers and confessed that he didn’t feel like attending the seminar but would appreciate some tips that they could give him that would help him get his team to perform better. The organizer was a very clever and smart person. He told him without mixing words that he just wouldn’t be able to tell him how to manage his people.

Steve was astonished and he said so that this presentation was on how to get people motivated to get a job well done.  The organizer agreed that they gave seminars just on this topic, but let the audience know that there is no way a person can control the other and that the motivation comes directly from the staff itself than from the boss. He went on to elaborate that the key in any situation is to get the people motivate themselves and that is what the seminar was about.  Steve was a intelligent fellow. He forgot his tennis and stayed on for an interesting section and was among the few who occupied the first few seats. After all pointing the way is not sufficient, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”

How you convince the person to stay and that to because they want it themselves is an art, the better you get acquainted with it and the more you practice, the more success you will have. This useful trait can be seen in one’s handwriting, just look in for t-bars, this trait is known as enthusiasm and it is one of the basic features that is found in the writing of rich and famous men. Enthusiasm sells; it makes people notice you and is a drive that gets the work done. If you are a boss and want to start new projects or choose a team leader, enthusiasm is a main ingredient you should look out for. It saves time and money for a lot of recruiting agencies who are looking for the right person for a right job. Thomas Alva Edison was one of the most highly regarded American inventors whose creations helped to enhance the lives of people. The electric light, one of e veryday conveniences was invented by him in 1879. He says” I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” Had he given up and not had the enthusiasm to keep going, the electric bulb would have just been a dream. Another quote of his justifies the same”I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.”

However one cannot ignore the felons claws in the “y” and neither the very elongated t-bars. Anything extreme in the handwriting is a sign of something missing in the writers life and he” fakes it to make it” . Also the over score in his signature is a sign of being protective about himself.

Abraham Lincon, the Sixteenth President of the United States of America was born on February 12th 1809, and died April 15th 1865 at the age of fifty six. His party was Republican and he was president for four years from 1861-1865, when he was assassinated. As president, he led the country through a great constitutional, military and moral crisis—the American Civil War. He was the first president to be assassinated. According to a personal friend, Abraham Lincoln dreamed of his own assassination shortly before his death.

I have a letter that he had written to his son’s  teacher and would like to share it here. It may have nothing to do with handwriting analysis, but I request everyone to read it once.

Letter  Abraham Lincon wrote to his Son’s Teacher.

“My son starts school today. It is all going to be strange and new to him for a while and I wish you would treat him gently. It is an adventure that might take him across continents. All adventures that probably include wars, tragedy and sorrow. To live this life will require faith, love and courage.

So dear Teacher, will you please take him by his hand and teach him things he will have to know, teaching him – but gently, if you can. Teach him that for every enemy, there is a friend. He will have to know that all men are not just, that all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero, that for every crooked politician, there is a dedicated leader.

Teach him if you can that 10 cents earned is of far more value than a dollar found. In school, teacher, it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat. Teach him to learn how to gracefully lose, and enjoy winning when he does win.

Teach him to be gentle with people, tough with tough people. Steer him away from envy if you can and teach him the secret of quiet laughter. Teach him if you can – how to laugh when he is sad, teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him there can be glory in failure and despair in success. Teach him to scoff at cynics.

Teach him if you can the wonders of books, but also give time to ponder the extreme mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun and flowers on a green hill. Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if every one tell him they are wrong.

Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone else is doing it. Teach him to listen to every one, but teach him also to filters all that he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through.

Teach him to sell his talents and brains to the highest bidder but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul. Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patient to be brave. Teach him to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will always have sublime faith in mankind, in God.

This is the order, teacher but see what best you can do. He is such a nice little boy and he is my son.

A person’s handwriting is a perfect way of finding out what he is, what his success potential is and how he can improve to fulfill his dreams and aspirations. In most cases, self-made men and women from all walks of life have certain personality traits in common.

Abraham Lincoln’s Handwriting Analysis

Abraham Lincoln’s writing tells us that he was a person who had a right hand slant. People like these are  kind, friendly ,affectionate and considerate of others.  They have the ability to put themselves in other person’s shoes. They are somewhat moody and have highs and lows in a day. Meaning that at one moment they feel like singing and dancing and the next moment  feel very let down. These writers  emotions keep swinging from bright to dull. They have an exceptional ability to get along with both introverts and extroverts. While making a decision they will weigh both the sides of an issue and make a decision only if they have to.

Lincoln also has very high t-bars which indicate a person with high set of goals and also the enthusiasm to complete them.  His baseline is straight and even. This shows a person who spends time putting everything in its place and reviews work trying to make it precise. Though his t-bars are high they not only show self-control but also signs of self-castigation, Shown by the backward crossed t-bar (right to left). This signifies the need to punish oneself. If the t-bar shows sarcasm (pointed), the writer tends to be critical and sarcastic of himself.

Lincoln’s signature is a slight bit larger than his handwriting. Both the text and the signature, are very well organized and meticulous. A similarity between the handwriting and the signature shows that the person we see outside is exactly the same person in the inside. Usually it shows honesty and high integrity.

Looking closely at his m’s we find that the first hump is bigger than the second one indicating high level of diplomacy. This is one traits that I wanted to have in my writing and did so to with the help of Grapho-Therapy.  The diplomatic person has the ability to say things in a way that their work is done and the other person doesn’t feel bad as well. We can also see how well connected his writing is, showing that he would be a good orator or speaker. We have already seen this as an example in the letter which he has written to his son’s teacher.

Prince William was born on June 21, 1982 at, west London, he is the elder son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana and second in line to the throne. In comparison Kate’s writing is more rightward and is much more emotionally expressive than William. She will be great with people and they will be able to approach her which Is a major advantage for her. They both have carried themselves in media and before the world beautifully, they are young, but intelligent as well. Kate’s writing shows that she likes to be treated with respect and William has a mind of his own and won’t hesitate to express his thoughts even if they are different from that of the group. Both of them have very different personalities, but then opposites do attract and God will , will have a happy and fulfilling relationship. The late Lady Diana’s handwriting has been included to allow my readers to have clarity as to how one person’s handwriting can show their inner self and how its immense power can transform lives. Because no two handwritings are alike, just as no two people are alike, every handwriting is as unique as a fingerprint.Handwriting is the psychological imprint of an individual. Diana’s writing is very rounded and very much in the middle zone.

The middle zone of a person  shows that she is sweet and undemanding. She was someone who lived in her today, that is she did everything at the spur of the moment. She is one of those people who had trouble making up their mind. Usually people like these have an inability to overview themselves and critique their behavior, they are prone to exaggeration.

In comparison to all the three writings Kate’s has proper three zones showing her writing, which is sometimes missing even in Prince Williams writing. No wonder after 10 years of being in a relationship and even a break up in the middle, the girl kept a level head on her shoulder and never spoke one work against the Royal family or her relationship  with William or ever complained it to anyone. William has chosen a good life partner, there will be ups and downs , but patience and Love above all will conquer all Kingdoms.

This is a situation that many people face in their life, failures are unavoidable but the biggest failure is to fall and not stand up again. While analyzing handwriting’s we look for out for traits that show us how the self esteem of the person will be. Is he capable of having high goals or will he take risks or whether the person will be stuck in the same sorry situation for the rest of his life.  Take the writings of some famous personalities. Lets start with High Self Esteem shown in the letter “t”

High self esteem can be seen in the letter “t” and my perfect eg would be that of Benazir Bhutto whose handwriting I have already analyzed and see why this woman ruffles so many feathers that they ultimately had to kill her. Then comes the writing of the famous Film Actor and latest heart throb Ranbir Kapoor. His performances in Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and Rocket Singh hit the right note, making him the hottest talent in town. He is the son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor, and grandson of Raj Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor has his t-bars in the middle of the stem, this is the usual way in which many people write. This indicates an average self esteem alongside goals that one will be able to set for himself and achieve. They will take risks but calculated ones. He has done well for himself till now and knows what the crowd wants. His signature is shows that he will be able to undertake a project and complete it as well. He will be able to handle criticism and problems that come in his way.

His writing also shows that he will not allow anyone to know what he is truly up to. There are many others factors in his writing that make him a flirtatious person and like every young viral man has sex on his mind and wants to have an intimate relationship. He does not like being told what to do, and is a pretty straight forward person.

Now comes the low t-bars which indicate that such a person will have  a tendency to remain in the same situation for a long time, it can be a bad relationship or job, the idea of taking a risk and doing something new will make their heart beats go fast. But they will allow the world to think otherwise, after all who likes to admit their short comings??
